byDesign Films needed a video to help explain and mitigate any future concerns their clients had about the RAW footage they sometimes received. So I took up the challenge and created this explainer video to not only show what the client could expect to see on the hard drive, but also why the footage looked the way it did, why some files wouldn’t play, and a little self service on the company side for what their talented editors did with such “flat” footage. I wrote the script, created the motion graphic animation, and even added my voice to the video.
